Google API access disclosure.
This page is provided to clearly explain PlayCast's Google OAuth usage for users and reviewers.
Purpose of Google access
PlayCast requests access to a Google account only when a user chooses to use YouTube live streaming. Access is used exclusively to connect the user's YouTube account, create live broadcasts, manage broadcasts requested by the user, and retrieve YouTube channel information needed for streaming.
Data handling
PlayCast stores Google account information and authorization information locally on the user's Android device using Android security features where available. PlayCast does not transmit this information to a PlayCast-owned server.
User control
Users can sign out of PlayCast, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or revoke PlayCast's access at any time from their Google Account permissions page. Revoking access there immediately ends PlayCast's ability to create or manage broadcasts on that channel.
Limited use statement
PlayCast's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube API Services
PlayCast uses YouTube API Services to create and manage live broadcasts on a channel the user owns. By using PlayCast's YouTube features you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Information handled through those APIs is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
