Delete Your Data
Last Updated: August 2026
The short version
PlayCast has no servers and no accounts. Everything the app holds lives on your phone. Signing out removes the connection to Facebook or YouTube, and uninstalling the app removes everything else. There is nothing held on our side to request the deletion of.
Remove your Facebook connection
Signing out deletes the access token PlayCast stored for your account. PlayCast keeps no copy of it and cannot act on your behalf afterwards.
- Open PlayCast.
- Tap Go Live, then open the destination list.
- Find your Facebook account and choose Sign out.
You can also revoke PlayCast from Facebook's own settings, which works even if the app is no longer installed: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → PlayCast → Remove. Removing it there immediately invalidates the token, whatever the phone holds.
Remove your Google / YouTube connection
- Open PlayCast.
- Tap Go Live, then open the destination list.
- Find your Google account and choose Sign out.
You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Delete everything PlayCast has stored
Uninstalling PlayCast removes all of it — sign-in tokens, team names and colours, game history, and any recordings still held in the app's private storage.
To clear it without uninstalling, use Android Settings → Apps → PlayCast → Storage → Clear storage. This cannot be undone.
Videos you exported to your phone's gallery are your files and are deliberately left alone. Delete those from your gallery if you want them gone.
Videos already published
A broadcast you sent to Facebook or YouTube lives on that platform, under your account, not ours. PlayCast cannot delete it for you. Remove it from Facebook or from YouTube Studio as you would any other video you posted.
What PlayCast never had
There is no PlayCast account, no PlayCast cloud, and no PlayCast copy of your video. Your recordings go from the camera to your phone's storage and, if you choose, to the streaming service you signed in to. Nothing passes through us.
Still want to ask us directly?
We would have nothing to look up, but we would rather answer than leave you wondering. Reach us through the contact page and we will confirm in writing what is stored where.
